I know you've talked about going to a school out of state and I was wondering if you were ever worried about paying the out of state tuition? I'm currently in a position if choosing my dream school out of state or staying in state. I'd appreciate your advice (majoring in art history, obviously) thanks!
This is totally a personal decision that depends on your finances. I went to an extremely expensive college for a year and hated it, then paid out of state tuition at UT until I was able to establish residency, which (obviously) helped immensely. This might not be what you want to hear, but it’s been my experience that where you go to undergrad doesn’t really matter. If you really have your heart set on your dream school and can afford it, then I would totally go there. But if you’re already worrying about finances, it might be worthwhile to stay in state and save some money to put yourself in a better position with less debt once you graduate.
